Our Courses
Within this curriculum design, students will be given the opportunity to find their voices while creating strong memorable characters, believable settings and page-turning plots and storylines—in any genre. Once you receive a full syllabus and curriculum outline, you will find even the first course is designed to get the writer off to a great start. Although this program is a non-accredited and non-transferable program at this time, it will offer the writer an opportunity to test the waters and their literary sea legs.
Taught in a comfortable surrounding, most group classes are only $25.00 each. Private sessions are available for a slightly higher fee. With super convenient online courses available as well.
Our purpose here at The Connection 08 is to get your creatively connected with the pen as soon as possible.

Our group classes are set up to meet once a week where we will read and discuss a piece of literature looking for tips, points and usefulness. There will also be an opportunity to use film to study director’s use of the senses that a writer can translate into the written page.
It sounds like a lot to cover, however, the courses are divided up by topic and will run continuously and repetitively with some courses standing alone and others designed to be paired.
Once you sign up for the program you will be given a full syllabus with assignments, requirements and evaluation criteria as well as a list of courses that are advisable to attend as a pair.
